Ffriddfawr Handcrafted Welsh Wood are Kym & Pwl, woodturners who craft beautiful objects from locally sourced and recycled hardwoods, with a preference for using wood grown where we live.
We like to work with some of the more overlooked native hardwoods like holly, hawthorn, damson or hazel to make a variety of decorative and useful items including lightpulls, yarncraft tools, jewellery, bowls, boxes, spheres of various sizes, platters & vases. Kym specialises in making small treasure boxes with threaded lids and other items with textured and coloured decorative features.
We are very happy to accept commissions for any turned items.
