I was born in Builth Wells in 1979 and, brought up on a farm and in a family with a huge love for the land, I developed a deep passion for natural history and especially wildlife. Having learned the principles of scientific accuracy and fine detailed painting at university, I am dedicated in my pursuit of becoming a renowned international wildlife artist specialising in oil paintings and prints.
I like to depict the rugged natural beauty of British wildlife within their natural habitat, representing them in an intensive, intricate style and using vibrant colours taken from detailed observation of the natural world.
I am experienced in many mediums: oil, gouache, acrylic, watercolour, pastels and pencil.
I am currently building a large portfolio of wildlife paintings; I also undertake commissions for pet portraits and livestock paintings. Please see my website for details.
